Radio Ra is an 'RF' based lighting control system. This system MUST contain at least three parts: at least one dimmer or switch, a master control, and a repeater. Without at least one each of these parts you will not be able to initiate, program or maintain a reliable system. Although the switches and dimmers will work normally without being programmed, they do require the other components to work reliably together and complete the 'system'. Some of the benefits of the RadioRa system is that in most cases it doesn't require any special wiring and can be retrofitted to most homes. It provides control of your entire homes lighting system from it's master controls, and with a glance at a master control you can tell which lights/rooms are on and control them accordingly. So if you're a panrent you can tell if your kids left the lights on somewhere or if they're up in the middle of the night. Or if you wish to be devious you can turn their lights on in the middle of the night. RadioRa can also provide added security as well when used in conjunction with your outdoor lighting. For example if you here a noise in the middle of the night all you need to do is press that button on your bedside master control to turn on your out door lighting, or have it programmed to come on and off with a timer or Chronos system bridge. A 'Panic' button can also be programmed to flash out door lighting to help arriving police or paramedics find your home or to let some one know there is trouble. Radio Ra shipping details. Although we are one of the largest stocking distributors of Lutron, at this time we only stock the most common / requested RadioRa components and only in White. Any other colors or unique parts may have to ship direct from Lutron. In most cases this delays shipping 1-2 days. Any stock parts ship from our warehouse the same or next business day. If you need something for overnight day or 2-day delivery we encourage you to call (949-646-7777) you order in to verify stock. Please review our standard shipping policy as well. Please be sure you understand the shipping you request is just that, the shipping time. Order processing can sometimes take 1-2 business days due to East (Lutron)/West(Hanks) coast time differences. Again we encourage you to call if you have a crucial delivery requirement. At this time we are offering free ground shipping on all RadioRa 'packaged' systems. A shipping rate will appear on your invoice however it will be deleted upon final processing. Larger component orders will also be elligable for free UPS ground shipping, please inquire or note upon ordering. Only the items we stock in our warehouse are returnable without a re-stock charge.
